Robert Randell Saylor

He was the widower of the late Lois Katherine Parker Saylor.

Robert was the father of Sherrie Lynn (Scott), grandfather of Saunya Leigh (Lamar), Sissy Lynne (Mike), Scott William and Joseph Gary (Anna). Great-grandfather of Austin James (Emily), James Page Jr. (Ally), Conner Kenseth (Jade), Kaitlyn Elizabeth, Izzabella LenaAnn (Jeremiah), Colin Dominic, and Nicholas Robert. Great-great-grandfather of Esther Marie and Holden Michael.

Robert at a young age joined the United States Navy. He enjoyed traveling around the world on his ship, the South Hampton. When he got out of the Navy, he went to work at Pontiac General Motors, where he retired from. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, country music, and all his kids and family.

In addition to his wife and parents, Robert was preceded in death by his four siblings: brothers Arbie Lee Saylor, Marshall Wayne Saylor, John A. Saylor Jr., and sister Freida Ann Harper.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, September 5th, 2026, at the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home on 1233 Union Lake Road from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
