Ronald Cole Smith passed away peacefully on July 7, 2016. He was born on September 30, 1938 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Augusta (Lane) Smith and brother, Stephen H. Smith (Kendra) of South Lyon, Michigan, sister, Carolee Dockstader (Gene) of Mountain Home, Idaho, and brother, Milton J. Smith (Carolyn) of Walnut Creek, California, many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews. Ronald was a willed body donor to Michigan State University. Ronald attended Brigham Young University and College of Idaho. He moved to Michigan in 1968 and began to work for Ford Motor Company for the next 30 years. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Quality Inn & Suites located at 7076 Highland Road, Waterford, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimers Foundation, the American Diabetes Foundation or the American Heart Foundation.
