Thomas Francis O'Connor of White Lake, Michigan, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 72 years of age.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Sandra O'Connor, his children Tanya (Anthony) Chapman and Mark (Jamie) O'Connor. His cherished grandchildren, Sean Chapman, Nathaniel (Elizabeth) O'Connor, Haley Barker and Joshua O'Connor. He is also survived by his sister, Colleen Coffman and brother, James (Sandy) O'Connor. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ann (nee White) O'Connor.
Tom was born on March 12, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh and went on to earn a higher education at the University of Pittsburgh in 1975. He had a successful career as the National Training Manager for Ford Credit, where he wore many hats throughout his tenure.
In his spare time, Tom enjoyed playing golf and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was an avid fan of the sport and followed his team faithfully. He also loved his family and anything Irish.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in White Lake, where he was a devout Catholic who loved his faith.
In honoring the wishes of the family, there will not be any services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or the Waterford Senior Center Encore Adult Daycare Program
Tom O'Connor will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
