Thomas Charles West, age 80, of Commerce Twp., Michigan passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Thomas was born in Detroit, Michigan to Frederick and Dorothy West. Tom had a good sense of humor. He was funny and liked to joke. He also brought peace to those around him. He was a very generous person. Tom enjoyed stamp collecting. He loved to garden, work in his yard and enjoyed growing orchids. He was retired from Peerless Pattern in Detroit. He was a life member of the Masonic Lodge #2 in Detroit.
Husband of Pamela; father of Scott Michael (Inna) West, Todd Douglas West, John (Corin) Ingweiller, the late T. Christopher "Chris" West and Michael Jay Ingweiller; grandfather of 4 and great-grandfather of 1; brother of James (Joyce) West and the late Fred, Doug and Peggy.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be scheduled later this summer.
