Verna Gene Wedhorn, age 90 of White Lake, was called home on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. She was born in Deerfield Twp, Michigan to Sivilla and Lee Locke. She married Earl Wedhorn on July 27, 1946. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2009. Verna was the loving Mother of Diana (Earl) DeLano and sister of Ima Bratt and Lila Locke. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl and Son David. Verna was committed in her faith and active in her church. She enjoyed painting and spending time outdoors. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake. The funeral service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Williams Lake Nazarene Church, 2840 Airport Rd. Waterford.
