Loving husband of Pauline for 73 years. Dear father of Theresa (John Badaczewski) Cappelletti-Scott, Vincent (Jeanmarie) Cappelletti, Joseph Cappelletti and the late Vito Cappelletti, Jr. Proud grandfather of Jayson, Anthony (Kristen), Matthew (Hilary), Christine (Tommy), Victor, William (Katie), Caitlyn, John, Joseph (Kim), Dominic, Alexa, Chris, Noel (Jessica), Vito, Patrick, Tony (Makayla) and Joey. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Cappelletti and Anna Fazio.
Mr. Cappelletti was a proud US Army Veteran who served during WWII. He enjoyed summers at the Cortlandt Yacht Club in Montrose, New York and winters in Florida. He and his wife loved to travel the world and spend time on their boat. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Elks Club. He will be dearly missed by all.
Burial along with military honors will take place at 10:30am on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road in Holly.
