Warren was dedicated to the community, serving popular elected positions on both the Walled Lake Consolidated School Board, and Commerce Twp. Board of Trustees. Later, he was a long-time member of the Commerce Twp.Planning Commission, shaping the building, zoning, and development of Commerce Twp. for decades to come. He served with a solid grasp of issues, combined with a vision far into the future in his decision making. When Warren moved to White Lake Twp. during retirement, he remained involved by regularly attending and participating in Twp. meetings. It was a pleasure to be in Warren’s acquaintance for most of my life as he was a man of principle, and civic caring.

We all rejoice in the knowing that through Jesus' sufferings and death, we have the hope of everlasting life and spending eternity worshiping and praising his holy name. My sincere condolences to all. It won't be the same at St. Marks with out Warren among his family in Christ.
