Wayne Gray Goins, age 84 of Clayton, North Carolina, formerly of Walled Lake, Michigan, passed away on March 23, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife Linda Goins of Clayton, NC; his son Jeff (Jill) Goins of Clayton, NC, daughter-in-law Jill Goins of Clayton, NC; his grandchildren Maxwell Goins of Clayton, NC and Michelle Goins of Chicago, IL; his sister Shirley Taylor of Nashville, TN and brother Farris Goins of Woodbury, TN, He was preceded in death by his daughter Sabrina and son Gary Goins. Wayne was a Christian who was very benevolent in helping people and the church. He and Linda traveled to Central America on a church missionary expedition. He was a retired machinist. He enjoyed spending time outdoors in his garden. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake, MI 48386. Visitation will be on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will be in Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Novi, MI.
