He is survived by his wife, Sheree, and his daughter, Alana. His sister-in-law, Jenny Kecskes. He was the uncle of Lauren Hotvedt, Katelyn Spitza and Ryan Spitza. He was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) and Ruby Jean Kecskes along with his siblings, Lynn (Dave) Spitza and Michael Kecskes.
He spent his youth as a ski bum in Salt Lake City, Utah, working hard in hotels and skiing mountains between shifts. He later returned home to Michigan to run the family Van Conversion business, Connelly Enterprises.
He enjoyed design and drawing. Most weekends were either spent enjoying football or golf. Wayne enjoyed boating on Cooley Lake with friends during the summer.
Wayne was the most difficult and stubborn person while still being loving, and always there for you when needed. He could fix, design and install anything related to the home or vehicle. He will be sorely missed.
