William Newton Reed

William Newton Reed, age 96, of Walled Lake, Michigan passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Bill was much loved by his family and friends. He was always a positive, pleasant person who greeted everyone with a smile, hug or handshake. Bill was born in Detroit, Michigan. He married the former Donna Snook and they just celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary on Saturday February 8, 2025. Bill was a member of St. Patrick Parish in White Lake for over 50 years. He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 13319. He was a former member of the 50 and up club.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife Donna; his children William (Karen) Reed, Cynthia (Michael) Klement, Deborah Reed; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Stephen Reed.

The Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at St. Patrick Church, 9086 Hutchins Rd., White Lake, Michigan 48386.
