Alyce M. Mazur
March 20, 1955 – April 1, 2018
Alyce M. Mazur, 63, retired Registered Nurse, entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 1, 2018. Alyce’s life was shaped by growing up in a large Catholic family in a small North Dakota town. She remained an integral part of this family throughout her life. She faithfully loved her husband and two girls. She was an amazing nurse and shared this skill as a volunteer at the Guadalupe Clinic for many years. She had many hobbies including quilting and knitting. She loved these hobbies, as well as a life full of music that included playing instruments and singing. Alyce loved her Savior. She loved people, she loved to laugh, and she loved her pets. Alyce loved life. She will be so greatly missed by those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary Grim. Survived by her loving husband of 38 years Mark, daughters Laura (John) Romine of Wichita, Michelle Mazur of Moore Haven, FL, siblings: Frank (Jean) Grim, Bob (Jacque) Grim, Dr. Jerry (Suzanne) Grim, M.D., Ed (Karin) Grim, Ann (Mike) Mezack, Janice (Dave) Arnson, Scott (Marlene) Grim and grandchildren Kyra and James Romine, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Rosary, 7pm, Thurs., April 5th and Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30am, Fri. April 6th both at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 3636 N. Ridge Rd., Wichita with inurnment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Alyce’s memory to Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
