Ashley "Licha" Peralta

Ashley Peralta, lovingly known as “Licha,” passed away on May 16, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 23.

Licha was born on June 8, 2002, in Liberal, Kansas. She was a vibrant and loving soul whose presence brought light to those around her. Licha graduated from Wichita East High School in 2020, where she celebrated an important milestone in her life. She carried with her a spirit full of energy, curiosity, and joy.

Licha was known as one of the most loyal people anyone could ever meet. She stood steadfast beside those she loved through both life’s brightest moments and its most difficult days, never turning her back on family or friends. Her loyalty was rooted in a deep and genuine love, something rare and truly special.

She had a beautiful spirit and a passion for experiencing life. Licha enjoyed taking trips out of town, especially to Texas, where she created lasting memories. She loved trying new foods, doing her makeup, taking pictures, and embracing moments that brought happiness and connection.

Above all else, Licha’s greatest love in life was her son, Aciano, affectionately called “Chanito.” He was the center of her world, and her love for him was immeasurable. Anyone who saw Licha with her son witnessed a bond filled with tenderness, pride, and unconditional devotion.

Licha is survived by her mother, Maria Selene Rivas; her sister, Verania Peralta; her brother, Brandon Peralta; and her beloved son, Aciano Galindo. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory deeply.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Juana Espinoza Mata, and her maternal grandfather, Jose Angel Rivas Arzola.

Licha will be remembered for her loyalty, her loving heart, and the joy she brought into the lives of others. Though her time here was far too short, her impact will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A Come & Go Visitation will be held from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, Kansas 67206.

A Celebration of Life Service for Licha will occur at 9:30AM on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, Kansas 67206.

The Committal Service for Licha will take place at 2:00PM on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Lakeview Cemetery in the Garden of Apostles, 12100 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, Kansas 67206.

En Amorosa Memoria

Ashley Peralta, cariñosamente conocida como “Licha,” falleció el 16 de mayo de 2026 en Wichita, Kansas, a la edad de 23 años.

Licha nació el 8 de junio de 2002 en Liberal, Kansas. Era una persona vibrante y amorosa con una presencia iluminaba a quienes la rodeaban. Licha se graduó de Wichita East High School en el año 2020, celebrando así un importante logro en su vida. Siempre llevaba consigo un espíritu lleno de energía, curiosidad y alegría.

Licha era conocida por ser una de las personas más leales que cualquiera pudiera conocer. Permanecía firme al lado de las personas que amaba tanto en los momentos más felices de la vida como en los más difíciles, sin darle nunca la espalda a su familia ni a sus amigos. Su lealtad nacía de un amor profundo y genuino, algo verdaderamente especial.

Tenía un espíritu hermoso y una pasión por disfrutar la vida. A Licha le gustaba viajar fuera de la ciudad, especialmente a Texas, donde creó recuerdos inolvidables. Le encantaba probar comidas nuevas, maquillarse, tomar fotografías y disfrutar de los momentos que le brindaban felicidad y conexión con los demás.

Por encima de todo, el amor más grande de Licha en la vida era su hijo, Aciano, cariñosamente llamado “Chanito.” Él era el centro de su mundo, y el amor que ella sentía por él era inmenso. Quienes veían a Licha junto a su hijo podían notar un vínculo lleno de ternura, orgullo y devoción incondicional.

Licha deja para honrar su memoria a su madre, Maria Selene Rivas; su hermana, Verania Peralta; su hermano, Brandon Peralta; y su amado hijo, Aciano Galindo. También deja a numerosos familiares y amigos que atesorarán profundamente su recuerdo.

Le precedieron en la muerte su abuela materna, Juana Espinoza Mata, y su abuelo materno, Jose Angel Rivas Arzola.

Licha será recordada por su lealtad, su corazón amoroso y la alegría que llevó a la vida de los demás. Aunque su tiempo aquí fue demasiado corto, su huella permanecerá para siempre en los corazones de quienes la conocieron y la amaron.
