Benjamin Franklin Howard "Bennie"., 66 passed January 30, 2014. U.S. Army Veteran, who later became a truck driver who enjoyed traveling the country, who loved fishing, and was loved by all. He is preceded in death by his parents; Freddie Howard and Evelyn Lauppe, and sister, Janet Haller. He is survived by daughter, Amy Howard, sisters, Connie Clark, Patricia (Dwyne) Allender of Wichita, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation 11a.m.-8p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Hillside Funeral Home West. Graveside Service will be held 2p.m. Monday, February 10, 2014 at Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield, Ks. In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to the Robert J. Dole VA Hospital.
