Born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1937, in Fort Scott, Kansas, Mom was the sparkling heart of our family. She dedicated her life to nurturing those around her, creating a warm and welcoming home filled with kisses, hugs, and laughter.
Our Mom found happiness in the simple things, sharing life's pleasures with her sweet husband, Richard and her family. She cherished her friendships, her church family, and being a caring neighbor. Her career as a radiation therapist at Wesley Hospital also brought her great fulfillment, allowing her to touch the lives of many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Hultman, her younger sister Vera, and her parents, Sam (Tex) and Helen Cannon.
Jean is survived by her three loving children: Brent Thomas (Jenny) Burns, Brenda Joy (Tom) Minyard, and Brian Trent Burns. Her cherished grandsons Michael James (Chrissy) Burns, Blake Thomas Burns, and Judson (Heather) Minyard. She is also survived by her precious great-grandchildren: Maija Liisa Burns (20), Natalie Ryan Burns (18), Dane Thomas Burns (16), and Bayes Minyard (8).
