Charlotte E. Ward, 68, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Sunday April 4, 2021 in Wichita. Charlotte was born the daughter of Billie M. and Weltha Tucker on July 12, 1952 in Springdale, AR. Charlotte enjoyed bowling, volleyball, camping, arts and crafts and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother; Billie G. "Butch" Tucker, grandson; Cyle Kolhman, granddaughter; Kennedy Ward. Survivors include her children; Floyd "Doug" (Tish Bailey) Warren, Tonya (Bill) Thurman, Tommy (Mary) Ward, Jess (Shila) Ward, grandchildren; Kayla Warren, Austin Warren, Melyssa Warren-King, Gordain Thurman, Hayleigh Thurman, Olivia Talbot, Dakota Ward, Taylre Ward, Logan Ward, great-grandchildren; Tucker McCoy, Taliyah Carter, Taniyah Carter, Molly Kolhman and Kingston Talbot. Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm on Wednesday April 7, 2021. Funeral service will be 10am on Thursday April 8, 2021 both at Hillside Funeral Home, 2929 W. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wichita. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Interim Hospice of Wichita, 9920 E Harry St, Wichita, KS 67207 or Wichita's Littlest Heroes, 203 N Mathewson Ave, Wichita, KS 67214.

Charlotte so happy we got to see you before you passed! Granted it was a window visit. But, that was the best we could do...SO...we took it! Thank you, Miss Charlotte, for being a true friend to us! Especially my mother, Your "Sister from another Mister" in the care home! I will always cherish the memories! And, just know that this is "Not goodbye...It's see you later, Sister"! We love you, Charlotte!
