

Clifford Bruso, age 97 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, November 10, 2025. He was born on June 20, 1928 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Clifford V. Bruso, Sr. and Catherine E. (Jindra) Bruso.
He was a loving father and husband. He was generous and enjoyed helping others, especially when he was delivering Meals On Wheels that he did for twenty years. He enjoyed outdoor activities like ice fishing, hockey, hiking, camping as a boy scout leader, and canoeing the Boundary Waters in Canada. He also loved going on ski trips and camping with his family. Clifford was married to the love of his life, his wife, Delpha, for 68 years, and together they raised 8 kids.
He worked 20 years at Boeing as a quality flight inspector, and then retired as an appliance technician for Montgomery Wards. Additionally, he proudly served in the United States Air Force, exemplifying his dedication to service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delpha June Bruso; daughters, Jean Swanson, and Sharon Ellis; as well as his brother Gene, who was killed in the Korean War.
Clifford is survived by his children Charles Bruso, Mark (Lita) Bruso, Joan (Alan) Robichaux, Carol (Jerry) Martinez, Gerald Bruso, Gregory Bruso; grandchildren, Nicole Grant, Keith (Amy) Bruso, Andrew (Megan) Bruso, Katherine Bruso, Matt (Amanda) Ellis, Luke (Tiffany) Ellis, Ryan (Tara) March, Chelsea (Jake) Wilson, Kyle Robichaux, Austin (Theresa) Robichaux, Aaron (Kristen) Swanson; and 19 great-grandchildren.
The Rosary will begin at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, located at 430 N. Broadway St., Wichita, KS 67202. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the same location at 10:00 AM. Committal will take place at Calvary Cemetery, located at 610 S. Vassar St., Wichita, KS 67218 immediately following Mass.
