I am an MT and 1962 grad from St. Francis, Wichita. Sophie had enough faith in me to offer me my 1st job there in the blood bank dept. She played match-maker, helping me connect with another MT student. Duane and I married in 1963! Sophie will always hold a special place in our hearts and we will miss the lovely, newsy Christmas letters we exchanged the past few years. Our deepest sympathy is shared with the family as we share in the loss of our dear friend and mentor.
