Donna Davis

Donna worked many years for Boeing, and she retired from there in 1995. Her favorite thing to do after retirement was to dote on and care for her grandchildren as often as she could. She was known most for her love of her family. She was big in square and round dancing, and she was an officer in the dancing groups she participated with. She loved sports, especially the Chiefs, K-State, and Royals Baseball. She fished for many years. She liked to crochet, and it was a favorite hobby. Donna was a member of the Southwest Presbyterian Church for many years. She led a fairly active life and could also often be found playing Pitch at the senior center. For many years she was a member of the Ninnescah Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, #423. Donna will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by, her parents; husband, Lawrence "Gus" Davis; child, Mary Garnett, and brother Roger Kellogg and sister, Gretchen Nelson.

She is survived by, her children, Rachel (Robert) Prine, Marsha (Steve) Cannon; grandchildren, Miranda (Kyle), Alex, Jeremy, Steven, and David; great-grandchildren, Jared, and Jayden; brother, Charles Kellogg; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on May 1, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Home West, 2929 West 13th Street North, Wichita, KS 67203. Her funeral service will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., also at Hillside Funeral Home West. Committal will follow at Clearwater Cemetery, 534 N. Tracy Avenue, Clearwater, Kansas 67026.
