Doris Marie (Scott) Keifer, 85, homemaker, retired dental receptionist, died September22, 2017. She was born at South Haven , KS to R.C. Scott and Eunice Munyon Scott on July 3, 1932. she was married to Robert L. Keifer, June 4, 1949 in Kiowa, KS by Rev. M.W. Williams. She graduated from Kiowa High School. to this union was born 2 children. They accompanied Bob during his 20 years in the U.S.A.F. Upon his retirement they settled in ValleyCenter where she drove a school bus for USD 262 and was employed by Charles F. Peters, D.D.S. and Dr. Stephenie Robertson Cameron, for the next 20 years. Preceded in death by mother and father, brother Raymond, sisters Eleanor Egy Nellie Russell and grandson Isaiah Kamke. Survived by son Raymond (Linda) of Valley Center, daughter Regina Kamke (Howard) of Tacoma, WA; 3 grandsons: Allan IIona), Jonathan (Brooke) and David (Autumn) of WA; 9 great grandchildren all of WA; brothers, Eldon of Wichita, Eddie of Clermont, FL., Gary of Wichita; sisters, Marian Coffman of Yukon, OK and Donna Fowler of Wichita. Visitation: 4-7 p.m. Thurs., Sept. 28 at Hillside Funeral Home West. Service: 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29 at Kechi United Methodist Church, 4533 E. 61st St. N., Kechi, KS
