He was a 10-year veteran of the United States Army. He served flying Helicopters in the Vietnam war. He flew for Life Watch in Wichita, KS for two years, and had a 26-year career flying for American Airlines. After retiring from the airlines, he enjoyed working at Cessna Flight Safety for 17 years as a simulator instructor.
Edward is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon Zenner, his children Heather (Beau) Oakley, David (Kristin) Zenner, Chris (Staci) Zenner and his 9 grandchildren.
Edward was a loving and caring Husband, Father and Grandfather who always put family and others needs before his own. Those who knew him, knew him as a very humble and thoughtful man who would go out of his way to help others and make sure everyone else was taken care of before himself. He received great joy out of other people’s happiness. Edward will be missed dearly.
