Eva Maxine Kabler

Eva Maxine Postlethwait Kabler was born to her parents Ralph Joseph and Emma Leah (Conine) Postlethwait on September 23, 1922 in Wichita, Kansas. She lived in Wichita almost her entire life and went to be with her Heavenly Father in Wichita on March 10, 2018 at the age of 95. She was a member of the Olivet Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Harold Kabler, also by her parents, her sister Belle Simmons, and her brothers Bob Postlethwait and Ralph Postlethwait. Eva is survived by her three children Linda Kabler, Bryon Kabler (Janet), and Brenda Lyles (Ron). She was a beloved "Granny Joe" to 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. A memorial service honoring Eva will be held in the Chapel of Hillside Funeral Home West on Wednesday, March 14, at 10:00 a.m. with burial following at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, March 13, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Gifts in Eva's memory can be made to Heart and Soul Hospice (HeartAndSoulHospice.org).
