Garvin J. Fisher, 92, went to be with his Lord on June 8, 2021. He was born on March 17, 1929 in Newton, Kansas to Jesse and Selma (Grochowsky) Fisher. Garvin started working for the railroad following graduation from high school. He became a Life Insurance Agent for over 50 years. He taught adult Sunday School Class for many years. Garvin loved the Lord with all of his heart and lived his life to glorify Him. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bobbie of 61 years and his sister, Betty. He is survived by his daughters: Jan (Chris) Keller, Joni (Cheno) Workman; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation: Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 10-11 a.m.; Service: 11 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2021, both at Hillside Funeral Home West Chapel. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
