Gilbert Wain Hoaglan

Gilbert W Hoaglan., 85 passed away July 04, 2012. Gilbert was born on 10/26/1926 to Walter and Gertie (Toles) Hoaglan in Nettleton, Arkansas. Gilbert retired from Boeing Aircraft as an Electrician Engineer. He also served in the U.S. Marines during WWII from 1942-1945. Gilbert was a member of the American Legion Post -0401, and a Mason. He is survived by wife, Lauise (Reddy) Hoaglan; son, Walter (Robin) Hoaglan; daughter, Carole (Mark Schutte) Hoaglan; stepson, H. Edward Werkheiser; stepdaughters, Lora (Jay) Alloway; Leigh Miller; grandchildren, Brian Thompson; Roberta Hoaglan; Michaela Koert; Sarah Hoaglan; Cory Alloway; Kristina and Danielle Miller; Trace and Bryce Quick; Jet Alloway; Shaun and Tyler Willhite; six great grandchildren. Visitation 1-8p.m. with family present 5-8p.m., Monday July 09, 2012. Funeral Service will be held 11:00a.m.Tuesday July 10, 2012 all at Hillside Funeral Home West, 2929 W 13th. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Gilbert Hoaglan Education Scholarship fund for ITT Tech College, 2810 Dupont Commerce Court, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
