Jimenez, Helen, age 85, retired Food Service Supervisor with St. Francis Hospital, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015, at her home. Helen was born December 9, 1929. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Manuel; grandson, Mason Ast; three brothers; and two great grandchildren. Survivors include: daughters, Kathy (Mike) Wherrell, Peck, Lynn (Tim) Wichert, Wichita, C Jimenez, Andover, Trish Jimenez, Wichita, Laurie (Curtis) Tasset, Wichita, Michelle Ast, Wichita; siblings, Pedro (Shirley) Gonzales, CT, Andrea (Patrick) Pirotte,Wichita, John (Tamara) Gonzales III, Wichita, Ricci (C.W.) Creekmore, Wichita; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter. Visitation 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Hillside Funeral Home, 2929 W. 13th Street; rosary 7 p.m. Wednesday, Christ the King; funeral mass 10:30 a.m.Thursday, Christ the King, 4411 W. Maple, Wichita; burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. A memorial has been established with American Cancer Society.
