James is survived by his wife Chrysa (Loux) Honeyman and sons Bret Honeyman of Austin, TX, and Eric Honeyman (wife Jamie) of Mt. Hope, KS, by his sister Carol H. Dewar (husband David) of Topeka, KS, and brother Dan King (wife Janice) of Loveland CO.
James was preceded in death by his parents Robert E. Honeyman and Delorice I. (Davis) Honeyman.
A rosary service for James will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 6:30 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 7:00 PM, then a reception at 7:30 PM, all at Hillside Funeral Home West, 2929 West 13th Street North, Wichita, KS 67203. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 3030 N. Amidon Ave., Wichita, KS 67204. The Committal Service will follow at approximately 12:30 at Ascension Cemetery, 7200 E. 45th St. N., Bel Aire, KS 67226.
