Jayson Jay Mitchell, 50, passed away on October 27, 2021 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on May 19, 1971 in Sedan, Kansas to Danny and Kathy (Carter) Mitchell. He is survived by his father: Danny Mitchell of Emporia; his mother: Kathy Mitchell of Wichita; 4 sisters: Michele Mitchell of Wichita, Christina (Donald) Taylor of El Dorado, Nancy (Benjamin) Welle of Newton, Mary Claus of Wichita. Jayson was deeply involved with his family including his nieces and nephews: Ashley Taylor, Zoe Taylor, Oliver Welle, Jamaal Taylor, Judah Allen and Juliana Taylor. Services are being scheduled for a later date.
