Josefa "Lika" Luna

Josefa Luna, 87, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in Wichita. Josefa was born the daughter of Ramon and Zeferina Luna on July 3, 1933 in Guadalupe Y Calvo, Mexico. Josefa and Francisco Luna were united in marriage. Together they celebrated 43 years of marriage before his passing in 1993. She loved and cherished her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. All of her children and grandchildren enjoyed her and will miss her. She enjoyed sewing and would make clothing for her family. After Francisco passed away, Josefa moved around the United States and Mexico to live with her children and grandchildren for several months at a time. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; Francisco Luna, 7 siblings; children; Maria D. Lazos, Apolinar Luna. Survivors include her children; Guillermina Luna, Israel (Elizabeth Cedillo) Luna, Rosa (Mark) Rodriguez, Flora Luna, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren and many extended family. Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Hillside Funeral Home, 2929 W. 13th St. N., Wichita. Rosary and Mass will be 10am on Saturday, March 13, 2021 both at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2007 N. Arkansas, Wichita. Burial will follow at Kechi Cemetery, Kechi, Kansas.
