I met Kristopher alooong time ago and we were really good friends... i wish i had been able to visit him im lawerence, he had said we hadnt had a needed convo in a long time... i love him sooo much.. before he went on a hitchhike trip.. i gave a necklace that was really important to me... i still have a painting he did..when we were hanging with my sis painting.... Kristofer was a bright and engaging young man with wide ranging talents and interests.  We were fortunate to have him start working at the Academic Resource Center last semester, and were looking forward to seeing him back in a few weeks.  He will be sorely missed by our entire staff and all of his friends at KU. Our prayers are with his family.

It's been many years since high school Ross and we have not ran across each other through the years.  Marla contacted me today to inform me of your son's passing.  I am so deeply sorry for your loss and I cannot imagine what you and your wife are going through.  Please know that there are many prayers for you and your family as you go through this time.  I hope you will find peace through his memory.

One memory I have of Kris is picking up my brother, Paul, Kris, and their guitars, at the Riverside Perk. We sat and chatted for a while, and then we drove Kris home. Hard to believe they have both left this world. I hope Paul was waiting, coffe and guitar in hand, on the other side. "Good to see you, man. Wanna here this riff?"

We are so sad that Kris is gone. He was a dear soul; we were pleased to know him. Kris was a high school friend of our son, Erik. We all enjoyed having him in our home and spending time with our family. Kris was curious about life, had vast creativity and was always up for a good conversation! We miss you!

I knew Kris several years ago, when we were both coffee shop kids, frequenting the Riverside Perk often.  His spirit - his good humor, quick wit and sensitive intelligence -  enriched my life.  I am so happy I got to know him. Condolences to his family and friends.

My heart aches for your entire family. Sarah and I are like sisters and I recently was blessed with the opportunity to get reacquianted with kris while we worked on a project for the family.  He was a very bright and deep person.  I know that Sarah loves him very much and he will be greatly missed.  You are all in our thoughts and prayers. May Kris rest in peace.

Kristofer and I met at very unstable times in both our lives, but we spent alot of time together and kept eachother from crumbling. We had fun together. He was a unique and lovely soul. He will forever be my ramblin' man.

I met Kris when he and my son, Paul were at Options together.  I saw Kris a few times when he & Paul would hang out, and I always enjoyed talking to him; I liked him very much. The last time I saw him was at Paul's funeral, five and a half years ago.  I'm so glad I saw Kris and was able to give him a hug and speak to him then. My heart goes out to the Voorhees family. Kristofer was by far the brightest most inquisitive student in my film class at WSU in Spring 2010 -- so much so, that I often forgot he wasn't a graduate student. After he left for KU, we kept in touch and would discuss books and articles. He was a very creative and complex person. I will miss him very much.
