Larry was a pleasure to know and coach. At age 12, he was likeable, fun and easy to approach. Coaching him was made easy as he always gave his best effort, he listened well and was always teachable. Despite having a mild manner he was a fierce competitor, like his brother, resulting in many championships.
Larry was part of a special duo whose positive impact is felt all these years later. Yet each of them unique and appreciated for their own qualities. It was my good fortune to have been part of their lives.

My deepest condolences for the passing of Larry Haynes.  I have many fond memories of Larry and Barry  when they  attended Dodge Elementary school. Larry was a great soccer player. He scored many goals at Kiwanis Park. My prayers go out to Larry's family.  RIP Larry! God Bless you
