Scott, Lois, 82, retired florist, passed away after a long illness on Oct. 10, 2011. Lois was the owner of Swenson’s Flowerage from 1975 until she retired in 1993. After she retired she worked for several florists in the area. She was a volunteer for the Literacy Program and enjoyed helping people to read. Her major passion in life was bridge. She loved playing at the Wichita Senior Center and tournaments all over the country. She achieved her life long goal of becoming a Bridge Master. Service of Remembrance 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 at Hillside Funeral Home West Chapel. Survivors: her children: Sharley Lee Scott of Wichita, Sharn Hye of Kansas City, KS., Shelby Scott of Columbus, KS.; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
