Lola Kaye Taylor, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, went home to be with Jesus on September 12, 2025. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family in the days leading up to her homegoing.
Lola was preceded in death by her devoted husband, John A. Taylor, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories. Together, they built a legacy of faith, family, and kindness that will endure for generations.
She is survived by her children, Jeff (Rebecca) Taylor and Kim (Martin) Farris, who will forever cherish her love, wisdom, and guidance. Lola’s joy multiplied with her grandchildren—Amanda (Ashley) Flower, Daniel (Amber) Flower, Molly (Patrick) Turley, Maggi (Matt) White, and Jeremy Smith—and again with her great-grandchildren—Alvera and Emma Reich, Lola and Levi Flower, Brinley and Grayson Turley, and Avery Flower; along with many more great grandkids, nephews and nieces. Each one of them carries a piece of her heart and her enduring love.
Lola’s life was a testament to her faith in Christ, her devotion to family, and her quiet strength. She was known for her gentle spirit, her warm smile, and her unwavering love for those around her. To know her was to be touched by grace.
A Celebration of Lola’s life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Evidence Church, 11135 W. Kellogg, Wichita, KS 67209.
Her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with her husband John and is resting in the presence of her Savior.
