Marie O'Brien

Marie O'Brien, 100, entered eternal life on November 30, 2015. Marie was born April 18, 1915 in Superior, Nebraska. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She enjoyed the game of golf as her husband, Gene O'Brien was a longtime golf professional. She belonged to book clubs and participated in many ladies activites at Rolling Hills Country Club. Marie spent many hours painting with water colors and enjoyed giving lessons. Preceded in death by husband, Gene O'Brien and daughter, Patricia Valentine of Panama City, Florida. Survivors, son, Mike O'Brien and wife Cheryl O'Brien. Grandchildren, Colleen Ternes and husband Mike Ternes, Tim O'Brien and wife Renee O'Brien, Kelly Tony, Shane Tony and Wife Britney, Greg Rule and wife Vivian, Candra Kerschen and husband Brian Kerschen; thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial to Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E. Rockhill St., #403, Wichita, Kansas 67206. Celebration of Life Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, December 12 at Hillside Funeral Home West Chapel.
