Michael Owen

He was born on April 15, 1957 in Wichita, Kansas the son Franklin Delano and Barbara Fay (Grover) Owen. He was the middle of three children.

He grew up in Wichita and attended North High in Wichita. He worked at Sunshine Ceramics and different car dealership as a salesman. He also worked at the Ritz Carlton while he lived in Maui, Hawaii.

Michael enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music and driving fast cars. In his younger years he was an avid baseball player and aspired to play big league ball until an injury happened.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and his brother Jeff Owen.

Surviving family members include his sister Linda Rickards, and his fiancé Stephannie Romesburg. He has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Jamesburg Park Cemetery, 17th and Tyler in Wichita, KS.

Michael will be laid to rest with his brother Jeffrey Owen, who passed away on August 25, 2021 in Vancover, WA.
