

Mildred Ruth Williams, 88, retired equipment supervisor for AT&T/Southwestern Bell formerly of 1335 N. Chautauqua in Wichita entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 16, 2017 in Bella Vista, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Mildred enjoyed watching sports; she was an avid KC Chiefs fan and WSU basketball fan. She was a prayer warrior and spent every evening in prayer. Mildred and Frank were married for over 60 years. Mildred was a longtime member of Holy Savior Catholic Church until moving to Florida to live with daughter Rhonda, after Frank’s death in 2012. Mildred’s final years were spent in Bella Vista, Arkansas where she resided with her daughter Karen and husband Curtis.
Preceded in death by her husband Frank M. Williams, Sr., sons Delbert and David Williams, her parents and many brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children Frank (Shirley) Williams, Jr. of Wichita, Karen (Curtis) Foote of Bella Vista, AR and Rhonda (Victor) Freeny of Orlando, FL, numerous grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Spring is a time of renewal and growth and was a favorite time for her and though hard for those who loved her, possibly a fitting time for her to go be with her Lord and Savior.
Rosary, 7pm, Thursday, April 20th at Hillside Funeral Home West Chapel, 2929 W. 13th. Mass of Christian Burial, 1pm, Friday, April 21st at Holy Savior Catholic Church, 1425 N. Chautauqua, Wichita with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
