Rick was a wonderful man. When my mom Mary Gillis was in rehab I got back in touch with Rick. Him and I went to eat lunch. Bionic burger. Of course he had to buy my lunch that was just how Rick was. We reached out to Jimmy Newhouse to go see my mom where she was staying. Let's just say my mom was shocked. It had been over 2 decades. I'm sorry to hear that he has passed. Here is a picture I took of the day we went to see my mom. God be with his family. Lisa Gillis Wilhelm

Ricky was the best brother. He loved to read and discuss scripture. Here is just one of hundreds that help us ………………. Live in peace with each other. And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Uncle Ricky,
There aren't enough words to describe you and how wonderful and loving and funny you are! I'll treasure our last conversation, and am so blessed we had that time together. I laughed so hard! I know God planned that out, and I'm so grateful for that, and that you reached out to me! I'll always love the photo of us when we drove to see Bruce in KY years ago, and you said we should act like we were breaking into this old mausoleum. Such a funny photo and quite the road trip. Thank you for being an amazing uncle! I love you and I miss you so very much.
