Rosella L., “Tiny” Springwater-Ortiz, passed away on June 27, 2014. She was born Sept. 17, 1958 in Wichita, KS to LeRoy and Rosaline (Littlecrow) Thornton. Rosella was enrolled in the Otoe – Missouria Tribe. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Rosella is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Tommy Ortiz; son, Ramon Ortiz; brother, Robert Thornton. Survived by her husband, Duane Springwater; son, Angel (Jennifer) Ponce; daughter, Kimberly (Bill) Martinez Jr.; brothers; James (Janet) Littlecrow, LeRoy (Sheryl) Thornton Jr., David Thornton, John (Angela) Thornton; sister, Janie (Jeff) Cox, 9 grandchildren. Visitation 1-5 p.m. Rosary Service 6p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Hillside Funeral Home West, 2929 W. 13th St. Wichita, KS.
