Ruth E. Wells

Ruth Ella Wells, 95, retired teacher and house mother at WSU's Tri Delta House, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021. Born on December 20, 1925 in Wichita, Kansas to Jesse Lee and Bernice Lorene (Aldrich) Wright. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Thomas Wells, Jr. Survived by her daughter, Deborah (Nicholas) O'Conner; son, J.T. Wells III (Karen); 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. A private family celebration is being planned. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with Meals-on-Wheels, 200 S. Walnut, Wichita, KS 67213.
