Shirley A. Hale, passed away September 10, 2014. She was born September 22, 1935. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norval E. and Clarice Dutro, sister, Mary Sue Dutro and brother, Walter L. Lesline. She is survived by her husband, Allen R. Hale, a son, Anthony Hale (Sheryl), a daughter, Kathy Dawson, two grandsons, Bryan Hale and Lane Dawson and 2 great granddaughters. Shirley was a retired teacher and one of the founders of West Heights United Methodist Church Preschool. She was a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America and North Star Eastern Star, and a volunteer for the American Red Cross for over 10 years. Visitation: 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Hillside Funeral Home West. Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday at West Heights United Methodist Church, 745 N. Westlink, Wichita, Kansas 67212. Memorials may be given to the West Heights United Methodist Church.
