Shirley Ann Warren, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt, passed away on October 22, 2026 at the age of 70. She was born on November 26, 1955 in Wichita, KS to the late Sam and Doris Fleetwood. Shirley was the youngest of five children. She met and married her devoted husband, Dan Warren, at a young age and they shared 52 years of marriage together. Her faith in Christ was paramount in her heart, life, & family.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, day rides, being outdoors, shopping, tending her flowers, doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles.
She will always be remembered for her love and dedication to her family. She would go to battle with anyone and anything to protect her family. She was strong, dedicated, humorous, and generous. She demonstrated love in action, as she helped everyone she could, even if it meant making self-sacrifices.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memory, husband Dan Warren, children: Stacey (Chad) Burge and Jerry (Clara) Warren; grandchildren: Mercedes Burge, Danielle (Dylan) Lewis, Breanna (Chad) Tabor, and Kip (Addison) Burge; siblings: Kenny (Dianna) Fleetwood and Sharon (Chuck) Wood; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Doris Fleetwood and siblings: David Fleetwood and Roney Fleetwood.
Service for Shirley will be held at noon on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at Hillside Funeral Home West, 2929 West 13th Street North, Wichita, KS 67203. Burial following at Greenwood Cemetery, 6231 W 47th St South, Wichita, Kansas 67215.
