Steve was a generous man who loved God and his family. His nickname was "Cowboy" and he lived that to its fullest. He was known for his western style dress, all the way to his chaps and spurs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Carolyn, Lorraine, and Gail.
Steve is survived by his sister, Margie (Larry) Dukes; brother, John Meaux; and many very loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Home West, located at 2929 West 13th Street North, Wichita, KS 67203. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the same location. Committal will take place at Resurrection Cemetery 1640 North Maize Road, Wichita, KS 67212 immediately following the funeral service.
