

Theresa was born on July 17, 2006 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. She was a sophomore at Goddard High School. Prior to her illness, she enjoyed playing volleyball and being around her friends. Theresa was intelligent, artistic, and demonstrated perseverance and endurance before and during the treatment process. She remained optimistic and held her head up high, and kept her smile despite all the odds, challenges and painful experiences during the treatment process. She exemplified what it meant to be brave and never giving up, she fought to the very end.
She was a great role model for her two younger sisters, tough yet fair, taught them most of what they know, and her loss is devastating to them. She had a love for animals, especially her dog Kona. Preceding Theresa in death were her grandmothers; Theresa Osebe Ochweri and Dixie Scobee. Theresa is survived by her loving parents Hezron and Jill, and sisters Abigael and Sophia. She is also survived By her paternal grandfather Geoffrey Joseph Ochweri Singombe, and maternal grandfather Richard Scobee. She is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many loving friends.
