Wilma Jean McVey, age 92, retired Southwestern Bell telephone operator, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dora Morris; husband, Harry S. McVey; brothers, John and Charlie Morris; and sister, Erma Lewis. Survivors include: son, Warren L. McVey, Sulphur, OK; daughters, Paula S. McVey and Donna L. McVey, both of Wichita; and sisters, Carolyn King, Albequerque, NM, and Edna Palmer, Derby. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Chapel at Catholic Care Center, 6800 E. 45th Street North, Bel Aire; graveside will follow at Greenwich Cemetery (37th Street North and Webb Road), Wichita.
