

Wilma Jo Oliver (Siemiller), age 88, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2024 in Wichita, Kansas surrounded by her family. Born on September 3, 1935, in Batavia, Arkansas, Wilma was a devoted wife, sister, mother, and grannie, whose life was a testament to love, resilience, and devotion to the lord. Wilma was the cherished wife of Herbert Oliver, with whom she is reunited with in Heaven, along with her parents Clara Akins and George Siemiller. She is survived by her siblings Charles Siemiller and Thelma Slaughter and proceeded in death by her brother Howard (Gene) Siemiller and his wife Joye, her sister Cora Blurton and her husband Edward Blurton, and her sister-in-law Marcia Siemiller. Wilma’s legacy continues through her daughter Virginia McCully, and her son Paul Oliver. She was preceded in death by her son Danny Oliver and his wife Norma, as well as her son-in-law Steve McCully. Wilma was a proud grannie to Andrea (Kolin) Anglin, Clara (Jerry) Warren, Joshua (Lauren) McCully, Aaron (Jessica) Oliver, James Oliver, and Ryan (Christy) Oliver. She also had many great-grandchildren, with whom she loved playing outside and feeding birds and squirrels with. Her great-grandchildren, Joseph and Elizabeth Anglin, Danielle and Breanna Warren, Maverick and Cashton McCully, Mason and Allyson Oliver, Wyatt, Natalie, and Willow Oliver, Austin, Khloe, Hayden, Lily, River, and Canyon Oliver, who will continue to carry her spirit and love. Wilma Jo Oliver was known for her spirited and lively personality. She was mischievous and full of life, often bringing a playful and feisty energy to any room. Her strong-willed and independent nature made her a cherished and unforgettable presence in the lives of her family and friends. A service to honor Wilma’s life will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West US Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209, in the Garden of the Lord’s Prayer, on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
