Shirley Ann Schneider

Shirley was a lifelong resident of Wilmette, IL. She was a devoted mother, grammy, and great grammy, known for her warm and generous spirit. Her beautiful soul touched the lives of her family and friends, always offering support and love when they needed it most.

She found joy in yoga, music, traveling, and especially gardening, which was one of her greatest passions.

Shirley cherished spending time with her loved ones. She was well-known for her humor, sharp wit, and practical jokes—though she preferred to steer clear of any involving snakes.

She is survived by her children: Beth Schneider and Donna Rae (James) Morgan. Her grandchildren include Olivia (Jon Nakagawa), Sara Morgan, Maria (Devin Adams) Morgan, Alice (Erik) Juhasz and Matt (Aimee Eberwein) Thoennes. Shirley’s great grandchildren are Charlotte, Lucy, Evelyn, and Lydia.

She was preceded in death by Edmund "Skip" Schneider, James "Jimmy" Schneider, and Patricia "Patti Schneider" Thoennes.
