I well remember my double-date with Flo's good friend Julian Rogers and Flo and his girlfriend, when we went to see the Maco Light.  I was the youngest in our foursome but did indeed "see the light."  

So sorry for your loss. We will all miss Flo.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Dyna-Flo, a great friend of my father, Julian Rogers. I met Flo at a UNC football game which Dad and Flo came up to see. It was so nice to meet one of my dad's friends from "back in the day".  Flo talked about NHHS sports teams and all of the wonderful relationships with the "Boys" on the team and Coach Brogdon. He also talked about going to UNC when my Dad did.  He came back to Wilmington to marry the love of his life and start a family.  I have heard many stories from Dad over the years about Flo - the great stories and a few stories of the shenanigans they got up to.  Flo was a good friend, devoted husband and father and someone people admired. Flo will be missed by all who knew him.

We know he will be greatly missed. I remember watching him and your mom dance for Forest Hills School 50's Days. Boy did they show those kids how it was done!!

My deepest sympathies to you Laurie, and your family. My prayers go out to you and your loved ones. Many happy memories with Flo and your family.

Flo was a very good friend to my family and I have many happy memories of times shared with him. He will be missed by all who were lucky to know his kind smile and his friendship!  Love to you, Laurie and the rest of your family!

I'm very sorry for Flo and the family. Flo has been one of my heroes since the mid-50s when he and my older brother were playing football at Carolina.

"Flo", may you rest in peace. God be with the family, and his close friends.
