Billy was always in and out of our home while I was growing up for he was one of my brothers very best and favorite friends. Loyal and trust worthy is what Bobby told me. That is the way those boys were to each other. Loyal and trustworthy. Billy was definitely that kind of friend. I respected him enormously as do many many others who know him. My momma taught him in school and says he was such a sweet boy. Billy told me recently that Mrs. Lamb had to paddle him frequently. He said he needed it. I use to laugh to myself like so many other young men mom taught, Billy would start tucking in his shirt-tail when he would see her as an act of respect. They sure don't make 'em like that anymore.
Every time I would see Billy he was always happy & had something good to say.  He really did enjoy his time working with Jeff and Mary @ Jeff's Pool Service. We will all sorely miss him.  God Bless

I will miss Billy! He was always the nicest fellow dating back to our school years together. Hope Alicia and her children know how much he meant to the community!

Billy was an important part of our family. The little "brother" to my mom and her sister , who picked on him mercilessly! They loved him and he them, it showed. He will be missed.

Perhaps y'all remember when we lived next door. (1983-84) was always kind to my boys. I will always remember him fondly. May he rest in peace and pain free.

Alicia...I hope you remember Steve and I from Gulf Stream restaurant.  We're heartbroken for you and your family.  You and Billy are two people we loved meeting up with there. Billy was such an amazing person. He was truly selfless and cared for everyone he met. I'll never forget our "secret" handshake and how much he loved kicking my tires to make sure they were okay :)  I will miss him dearly. My heart goes out to each of you. I love you all!
