Her predeceased parents were Clemente and Lilia (Dox) Lugo. She was one of seven siblings, Milagros Toucet, Jose Lugo, Tony Perez, Ismael Perez, Bethsaida Matos, and Yolanda Lugo.
She passed away peacefully at the age of 83, and is finally at her resting place. She is survived by her five daughters, Wanda Padin, Bethsaida Ramos, Romi Escobales. Mincy Escobales, and Loida Mills.
Her main accomplishments in life include being a domestic engineer, deputy in Florida, when patriarchism ruled our country, way ahead of her time and she finally retired as a Marshall in Waterbury CT. She was direct, strong-willed, but gave everyone she knew the best advice that would never lead them down a dark path. To know her was like knowing a warrior, yet nurturing. She also had a bohemian side as she loved music, and was creative with her arts and crafts.
Please join us to show respect for knowing her on her journey while on earth and to say goodbye, until we see her again.
