Dennis Alexander Droesch

Dennis Alexander Droesch, 83, of Torrington, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2026, at The Residence at Brookside in Avon. He was the loving husband of the late Belle Renee (Sikirdji) Droesch, who passed away on February 8, 2026.

Born on February 12,1943 in Brooklyn, NY, Dennis was the son of the late Frank and Josephine (Boucher) Droesch. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Following his military service, Dennis was employed by the Liberty Lines Transportation that served New York City until his retirement. He was also a member of the Transit Workers Union.

Dennis had a lifelong appreciation for vintage cars and stereo equipment. He and Belle also shared a special love for dogs and raised many beloved dogs together throughout the years.

He leaves behind his two children, Kristen Droesch and her husband, Daniel Foerst, of Alexandria, VA, and Richard Droesch and his wife, Danielle (DelDin), of Stormville, NY; and his three grandchildren, Caleb Foerst, Emily Foerst, and MaryAnn Droesch.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Joan Droesch and Patricia Woods, and his brother, Frank Droesch.

Services will be privately held with his family.
