Mary Ann Whitsel

Mary Ann Whitsel, age 74, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Bucks Hill. She was born on March 12, 1950, in Lancaster, PA, the daughter of the late Albert Paul Stang Sr. and Florence M. (Lefever) Stang.

Mary's loving spirit, warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a devoted family member, a cherished friend and a compassionate soul. She spent her years devoted to those she loved and cared for, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and generosity.

Mary is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Roger Tarre of Wolcott, her grandchildren whom she adored, Alex Robie and Gabby Robie, whose lives were enriched by her presence. She is also survived by and her brother Albert and his wife Kim. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her loved ones. She now joins her parents in eternal peace.

A private service will be held at the family’s request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
