He was born in Waterbury, on June 27, 1952 and was the son of the late Anthony and Gloria (Guglielmetti) Lanosa.
Robert retired from Bozzuto's of Cheshire after many years of service. A long-time member of the Newington and Grumman Ski Club, he was an avid skier, hiker, and enjoyer of nature and the outdoors.
Robert is survived by his son Michael Lanosa and his husband Jimmy Ong; his step-son and daughter-in-law Richard and Marishcka Boutot and their children, Paula, Rhiana, Regina, and Mackinjosh; his sister, Nancy Poole, and her children Nathan and Heather. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Lanosa.
A service for Robert will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 690 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Calling hours will be prior to service starting at 9 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
